8 Months! Gasp!

Dear Grady~ Can you bring any more joy in our lives? Seriously kid! Everyday you make us laugh and smile. Your sweet spirit is such a blessing. The love and relationship between you and Jack is astounding. He loves you so much and you are still in awe of him. He calls you Grades which I think is so sweet. You love to watch Jack and daddy play and wrestle just waiting for the day when you can get in the mix. You still aren't officially crawling. You do crawl backward and push yourself forward on all fours to get where you want to go. You get those legs going but your hands are glued to the floor. You get on your hands and feet straightening your legs out and kind of "walk" forward. You also LOVE to stand! I think you'd much rather stand than try to crawl. Mommy and daddy have to get you in standing position but once there, you are good on your own and oh-so-proud of yourself! I know you said "mama" the other day but "dada" is still your word of choi

Handsome Fellas

In pure "Megan" fashion, I decided to add more to my busy schedule and take some pictures of the boys. Grady is 8 months old (gasp!) on Christmas so I needed to take some pictures of him. Jackson is out of school so he was lucky enough to get to tag along for the photo shoot. I am not posting any single pictures of Grady until I do his 8 month post. I absolutely love the site I picked for these pictures. I thought the colors came out SO good. And, both boys were perfect even though Jack is getting over an ear infection and Grady is a little congested.

Jack's Big Debut

Jackson had his first Christmas show at school. I think I may have been more excited than he was. His class sang "Rudolf," "Feliz Navidad," and "Jingle Bells." He did so good. He kept giving Scott a thumbs up. Jack was singing those songs at home practicing for days. I absolutely enjoyed my heart out watching him up on that stage. This is a memory I will cherish forever! Good job, Buddy!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

My-oh-my we have been busy! How we have enjoyed the Christmas season! We have done so much fun stuff!I just love the memories that we make and the traditions that we start. It is also fun to pass down traditions from my childhood to my children. There is something magical about Christmas when you look through your children's eyes! We began our holiday season at the good old Christmas tree farm in Van Alstyne. I absolutely LOVE doing this! We started this tradition the first year we moved here and it has gotten more fun each year as Jackson and our family grows. The drive is beautiful and the land is gorgeous! This time around it was pretty cold. However, I liked getting our tree while it was cold out. Something about the cold says' "Christmas." We got a HUGE beautiful tree that smells so good!!! We will continue this tradition as long as we can. Jack chasing Katie with his giant stick! Too funny! Every year our city puts on Merry Main Street. Christmas lights are on e
