Almost...

Dear Wyatt, As I sit her writing you this letter while you flutter away in my belly, I cannot help but get sentimental. I am 37 weeks pregnant with you, sweet angel, and so ready to meet you. I cannot wait until they plop your gooey self on my chest right after you arrive. I will examine your fingers and toes anxiously awaiting to kiss them over and over. I will stare into your perfect little face and see a glimpse of God and Heaven. I will smell you eternally loving the quiet moments we have together; that is, until your two crazy brothers arrive to meet you. As excited as I am to see whether you will be completely bald or have loads of hair like your siblings, I almost secretly desire for you to stay in just a little longer. Yes, mommy is uncomfortable, ready to be done, yada yada yada, but this time that we have together, now, is priceless. I am so blessed to be a woman and have the privilege of carrying you in my belly. It is a gift from God; absolutely magical. I will miss your fl

Disbelief

I can still remember the first moment I laid eyes on you. Time stood still. Your daddy is SO proud! I am so blessed to be able to watch him with you. Breath-taking Your brother was in awe of you then and adores you now! And now you are this little boy getting bigger by the second and more precious by the moment! Dear Grady~ One year ago at around 11:30am your mommy and daddy strolled into Baylor Hospital in Frisco, Texas not knowing we would not be leaving without you in our arms. Mommy thought she was going to get a big cheeseburger for lunch and daddy talked about new job prospects. Five hours later you arrived changing our lives forever. Your birth was a whirlwind with lots of laughs and surprises. We wouldn't have it any other way. When I think back through the journey of having you I get teary-eyed and shout praises to our Lord. Mommy and Daddy prayed for and wanted you with all of our being! Jackson desperately wanted a sibling and God knew exactly the right guy for the job!

A First

Happy 1st birthday to our sweet Grady-do! We had a small family/friends bbq at our house and it was absolutely perfect! I didn't know where I'd be or how I'd feel at 36 weeks pregnant so we decided to have something small and intimate for our Gradsters. The weather was absolutely beautiful and Grady had an awesome day! He loves having people around and playing with other kids. He tore into his smash cake almost eating the entire thing. He just looked at us like, "What? Aren't I supposed to eat the whole thing?" He crashed for hours after presents. Thank you SO much to everyone who made Grady's day so special! It really oes take a village to raise a child and we are blessed by and appreciate each and every one of you!

Counting Down to One

Dear Grady-Doo, I just realized that you will be one year old in two weeks and I have yet to write your 11 month letter. Maybe I've been busy. Or maybe, just maybe, I don't want you to be 11 months because then you are almost one. That, I just cannot believe! You're personality has really started to come through lately. You are still "sweet Grady" snuggling and giving lovies to everyone with a little stubbornness mixed in. I LOVE when you lay your head on my shoulder, cross your little feet on my belly, and rub my arm. I could do that all day! You love daddy more than words crawling excitedly to him when he comes home from work. It is the cutest site! He has to take you with him when he changes out of his work clothes. You play with Jackson all the time laughing at him hysterically wanting to do everything he does. You have no desire to be fed. All you want is big boy food and to feed yourself. You are also starting on whole milk and liking it. You still prefer yo
