Yes....

We are okay. For all of my Cali friends and family we are ok. The hurricane is thankfully not really going to affect us. We are going to get some rain and wind but nothing major. It looks like the storm is going to stay east of us. Please pray for those that live on the coast. The news is reporting that Galveston all the way up to Houston was hit hard and leaving people without power for possibly weeks.

Swinging From the Rafters

I swear, this kid never leaves me empty handed when it comes to stories! I was in the shower and Jackson was playing with my shoes. Well, more like taking every shoe out of my closet and throwing them on my bedroom floor. But, I thought, he's occupied so go on shoe flinging boy! After he got the right amount of shoes out of the closet and onto the floor he told me he was going to climb the ladder. In my head I am trying to think of everything in my closet and become stumped knowing for sure that there is no ladder. Then it dawns on me. He had taken all the shoes off of my shoe cubbies and thought those clever little boxes would make a fabulous ladder. I begin to shout at him to not climb the ladder as I frantically wash the conditioner out of my hair. I finally get out of the shower and thankfully he is not climbing the "ladder." Later, however, as I was putting on my make-up he decided that he needed to climb his "rescue rope" (he watched WAY too much Diego tod...

A Little R&R

The Bullard and Fish families packed up and headed to Lake Texoma for a fun-filled Bully-Fish weekend! The lake is a little over an hour north of us and reminds me a lot of Big Bear for all you Cali folk. We had a wonderful time full of rest, relaxation, laughter, and sleep deprivation (will explain later). Before we get to the pics I thought I'd explain my sleep deprivation comment with three stories... Story 1: We get to the cabin and the boys immediately jump on what is going to be Bre & Mike's bed & begin rummaging through her diaper bag. She walks into the room and yells to me, "Either one of the boys just chucked something under the stairs or something ran under there." We didn't see anything & thought nothing of it. Flash forward the evening. Bre walks into the cabin then immediately back out. Her & Mike reemerge with her explaining that a little furry creature just ran over her foot. Nice! Our strong courageous hubbies found the shaking lit...
