The Fish Tank

Will someone please HELP??? We are desperate! Jackson is on sleep strike. He fights going down at night often times playing or crying until he makes himself sick. We have tried EVERYTHING!!! We've taken away naps, kept naps on schedule, left his door cracked so he's not scared, laid with him, put special toys in his room, taken the toys away, etc., etc. He is tired when we put him down he just does not want to stay in his room! Once we, or I should say Scott, finally gets him down between 10 and 11pm he sleeps for a few hours and then sneaks down into our bed. We do NOT like him sleeping in our bed. Neither of us sleep well and we don't want him to get in the habit of sleeping with us. The kid will be up often times for hours in the middle of the night. We do not know what else to do! We are walking zombies! Any advice?

What is the true meaning of Christmas? Ponder that today...

I can't believe that it was once again time to go get the good old Christmas tree. I think I blinked and this year passed me by. Anyway, we made our annual trip to Van Alstyne to a Christmas tree farm. I love the drive to the lot and the land is just breath-taking. Of course I always choose a tree they have to have shipped in and don't actually cut one down like most but it's the experience that counts, right? We had a great time together enjoying the wonderful smell of pine and the brisk sunny day! I must admit that one of my favorite parts of the day was eating at Carl's Jr. on the way home...lol:) We have Carl's Jr. all over the place in SoCal and I miss those chargrilled burgers! Jackson fell asleep with a pretzel in his mouth on the way to the Christmas tree lot. Nice! I love the property that the lot is on. It is just beautiful! Jackson Thanksgiving 2006. Look at that bald head! Thanksgiving 2007...so cute! Thanksgiving 2008...making a "boat" out of cheese and olives. He's a little busier this year:)
