Wordless Wednesday

Thanks God!

Jack and I were driving the other day when I heard some whispering. I looked back and Jackson was praying. I didn't want to interrupt him so I let him finish. When he was through, I asked him what he was doing. He said he was praying. I asked what he was praying for and he said: "I was praying to God to say thank you for giving us such a beautiful day." What a sweet boy! And thank You, God, for giving me such a beautiful boy!

Grady-Dooey-Do

Mr. Grady you are already 6 weeks old! Can you believe it? We can't! Although it feels like you have been with us forever!!! You are pure joy in our lives! Smiling and cooing is what you do now. You already have a nickname thanks to Mommy, Jackson, and Scooby Do. Mommy calls you Grady Do. Big brother Jack can't say your name without singing "Grady Dooey Do!" So cute! You are "filling out" getting a little chunk on your legs and your face is rounding weighing in at 10lbs. 3oz! You are still a great sleeper going three to four hours between feedings. Thank you, buddy! You LOVE your little play mat and have a special relationship with the zebra. You are still our little Gremlin making your snorting and heavy breathing noises in your sleep. Grandma and Auntie Amy thought this was quite funny especially when we were watching Marlee & Me and had to turn it up because you were so loud! You and your brother are absolutely precious together! He cannot wait to wa...

Jackson's 3rd Birthday Part 2

Jackson is one lucky kiddo! He had not one but two birthday parties! Lucky kid! He was SO beyond excited for his "MyGym" birthday! His buddy Jobe arrived first and he said to him, "Jobe, I'm SO excited! It's my birthday!!!" He had a blast playing and being crazy with all his friends at one of his favorite places: MyGym. He ran, jumped, climbed, and just went crazy! It was great! I must say that I got a little teary eyed when he was swinging on the big boy swing while everyone sang Happy Birthday to him. We started MyGym when Jack was 15 months old. Watching him on that regular swing and not in the bee swing he loved so much showed me just how big he is getting! I still can't believe that I have this three year old little person running around! He lightens up my life each and everyday with his contagious smile! His curiosity astounds me! He may drive me crazy every now and then but I wouldn't have it any other way! Jackson, you are the light in my li...

T-Ball

Jackson LOVES playing sports; any sport! He has really been into T-ball lately so we signed him up at our local YMCA. The class was great! He had to stretch, run, practice catching and throwing, and, his favorite, hitting. I had so much fun watching him try to get the hang of an actual "practice." Watching him play and work with Scott got me excited for the future and baseball games! Here are some pictures from his morning:)
My Precious Jackson, You turned three years old on May 30th. Mommy just cannot believe it! I honestly think I blinked and you became this big boy! Seems like yesterday you were born but like you have been with us forever. You are so smart! You want to know about everything; how it works, where it came from, and the like. Your vocabulary astonishes daddy and I saying things like "frustrated". You are a busy little guy trying anything and everything. As Auntie Amy puts it, you are "spirited." You have great friends! Your relationship with them is so fun to watch! It's amazing to watch you interact with your friends seeing how you are developing those relationships. Speaking of relationships, you are INCREDIBLE with your little brother! You just love him so so much! And Grady absolutely adores you! We are so proud of you, Jackson, and so proud to be your mommy and daddy! Thank you for blessing our lives each and every day! You challenge us and cause us to love even...

Jackson's 3rd Birthday Part 1

Jackson turned 3 on Saturday. THREE! Can you believe it? I sure can't! I scheduled Jackson's birthday party for the week after his birthday since Grady was due so close to his actual day. So, I wanted to make his actual day super special! Thankfully his Grandma, auntie, and cousin were here to make that happen. We had a nice BBQ and swim day with the family and Bullards. Jackson had a GREAT day!!!!!! Pictures from his party soon to follow!
