Is It Too Late To Be Good?

I bought the boys Christmas shirts that read, "Is it too late to be nice?" Jackson had his Christmas party at school today so I thought I'd put them in the shirts today. We got ready early so I decided to take advantage of two happy boys and snap some pics. They were so sweet with each other! Grady just LOVES the Christmas tree! He really likes to touch the branches and lets out a little giggle when I let him. Thank goodness he isn't totally crawling yet or he'd be ripping ornaments down and eating needles all day long!

Snow Day

We woke up Wednesday morning to a winter wonderland. I opened the curtains and couldn't believe how much it was snowing! It was so gorgeous! I love when it snows here. We get just enough to enjoy but not too much that we can't drive in it or have to shovel our driveways. Jackson absolutely LOVED it! He couldn't get enough and was wired all morning. Grady could do without the snow. I think he is going to be like his daddy and really dislike the cold. Oh well. At least I have Jackson to enjoy cold snowy days with me! Jackson was SO excited! He kept asking Scott and I if it was Christmas. It was fun to see his reaction! Um...really? It's cold out here. Can I please go back inside where its warm? Yeah! I got a laugh! He will like snow if I have anything to say about it! Finally free! Wahoo snow!

Wordless Wednesday

Funny Stuff!

Jackson has been hilarious lately! He cracks us up! Here are a few funny things he has said... Mommy: Jackson, did you toot in the bath? Jack: No mommy. A skunk snuck into the bath and made it stinky. Jack's serenade to Daddy: "Daddy I love you. Daddy I love you. Daddy I love you. Daddy got eaten by a shark." Mommy: Jack, how did a wipey get into Grady's crib? Jack: Well, a coyote got in Grady's crib and left a napkin there in case he needed one. Quite the story-teller. And we can't forget about Mr. Grady! he is hilarious too! He is such a happy smiley little guy. He is REALLY enjoying being "mobile." He pushes backward and gets his knees moving with a few lifts of the hands. Anyway, i have now found him twice by my fireplace when he started at the couch. Somehow he figured out how to get across the room. When I catch him, he just smiles at me so proud! Man, I am in trouble when he really starts moving!

Mr. Big Boy

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." 1 Chronicles 16:34 Dear Grady~ Seven months have quickly come and gone. I cannot believe that seven months of your life passed by so fast. I feel like it should still be April with us still trying to get to know each other. Yet you keep growing each and every day astonishing us with your development and sweet spirit. You are one very special and unique little boy. Your hair is quite fuzzy growing in a crazy spikey fashion with a strawberry blond color. One tooth has made its debut on the bottom. Teething didn't seem to bother you one bit. One morning you woke up and poof, there was the little pearly white tooth. You LOVE getting up on all fours rocking back and forth taking a few crawls here and there. Daddy and I keep encouraging you to go but I think we are going to regret that later. You are all smiles laughing and cooing all the time. You say dada, baba, and blah. No mama yet but we are working on it...

A Dedication & An Adventure

The Fish family has had a lot going on this month! I can hardly keep up! Grady was dedicated at the beginning of the month, the boys and I saw some dinosaurs, we hopped a plain to California to see my mom, sister, and her family, enjoyed a gorgeous day at the aboretum, had a fabulous Thanksgiving feast with the Fish family and the Bullards, and Grady turned 7 months, got a tooth, and started crawling! Whew! I am going to post in stages because it takes so long to upload pictures. Below is our visit to the Halls and Grady's dedication. More to come! I am not exaggerating when I say that the boys and I had the most amazing time at my sister's! Jackson was out-of-his-body excited to see his cousins. I don't think I saw him but for meals when we were at my sister's house. Joshua was his buddy and really took Jack under his wing. My sister and brother-in-law have done the most incredible job raising some fabulous children. I cannot brag about them enough! The kindness, love,...
