Monday Musings~Full Circle

I was sitting in church on Sunday for the first time since we had Grady. I love being in church with my children. We sang all the songs I am used to singing and then a song I hadn't heard in months began: You Never Let Go. The last time I heard this song was when I was going through my last miscarriage. It was a popular song during that tumultuous time. I remember crying as a sang that song many times truly believing in all my heart that He didn't let go of me even though I was in despair.

Now, here I sat with my newborn son; this little miracle. I had a flashback moment visualizing the last year and a half and all that we have been through and how He was, and is, with us every single step of the way. I felt His presence so deeply in that moment holding Grady and singing a song that has seen me through many dark moments. Now I was singing the song rejoicing. Now the Lord does not always give us what we want. However, I do know and believe that He NEVER let's go!

I love this song, it has got me through many hard times as well. It is so true! I'm so happy for you guys. It is nice being out of the valley having learned so much. Love and miss you!

Our Miracle

Psalm 77:14 Meet our miracle...and our secret. Yes, it is true. I am pregnant; about twelve weeks and a few days to be exact. We wanted to make sure this baby was healthy before announcing how great God has been to us! We have known about this precious little blessing for a little over two months and have eagerly awaited numerous sonogram and test results. We have witnessed God's mighty, yet gentle, hand every Tuesday for the past five weeks. This baby is a fighter. However, the road is not "clear" quite yet. We have it written all over the place. We hang this verse up in our home and tattoo it to our bodies. Jeremiah 29:11 is everyone's life verse. I mean, who doesn't want to rest in knowing the God has a plan for our life; especially when that plan includes safety and prosperity. Even if I didn't believe in God, I would hold onto this verse.
