Road Trip

Wow! I will, we will, forever travel by car...hopefully RV someday. I LOVED our road trip to California! Some of our best times were in the car! From the funny things that were said to the precious conversations we had! We took the 40 to California stopping in Albuquerque and Flagstaff and the 10 home. I enjoyed interstate 40; so gorgeous! The boys did fantastic! I couldn't believe it! Grady was a little whiny being that he had recently learned to walk and the last thing he wanted was to be strapped down all day. We dubbed him our "rock star" because he would run around the hotel rooms screaming and terrorizing the place because he was so happy to be free! Jack played with toys, colored, read, played his Leapster, and watched movies the entire time. Wyatt slept. Which for him, that was amazing at the time since he was just getting over being colic. I will always remember our first road trip as a family! This really brought home the reality of making memories as a family a...

Grand Canyon

There are no words to describe the beauty of the Grand Canyon. It seriously took my breath away. You walk through this forest and then all of a sudden there it is. I could have sat there and stared for hours. We will definitely be back when the boys are older.

Family

Nothing is better than family. We had an incredible time visiting with my mom, dad, aunt, uncle, sis and her family, cousin and her family, and last but not least, my grandpa. Wyatt HAD to meet his Grandpa Buz. The moment my grandfather held my son in his arms will be forever etched in my heart.

Friends

There truly are no words to describe how much these girls mean to me. I have know them for about 16 years. They have seen me through it all. I love that when we get together it is like we have never been apart. Thank you all for your unconditional love and support always; for being such beautifully amazing women, wives, mothers, and friends! I am blessed beyond imagine! Jack putting the moves on Kylie Wer met the Rush and Manzo families at the park and had dinner together. What an awesome time we had!!! We had so much fun watching the little guys play together with big old Jack leading the reigns. Wyatt hung out in the shade. Being with these families made us remember that we love where we live but miss our friends SO much!!! Thanks for a fabulous afternoon/evening! Grady meet Brysen. Brysen, Grady. Our Trip home...it had to come sometime

Well, the day had to come...our departure. We were ready to sleep in our own bed and have the comforts of home but sad to leave family, friends, the beach, and beautiful weather. We had an AMAZING trip! It really couldn't have been better. We had an absolute blast enjoying family, friends, the beach, Disneyland, watching our Angels play, our old church, and eating at all our favorite restaurants. We were blessed beyond words!!! He fell asleep on the way to the airport... ...stayed alseep while we waited for Scott to return the rental car... Buckled up with monkey...he was so cute telling monkey that we had to stay buckled up until we got up in the sky. Reading the safety manual...hey, somebody should know what to do since we know none of us read it!
