Have you ever had one of those glorious days when your toddler awakes deceiving you that today is going to be a great day! He says "please" and "thank you" and is very cordial. And then, dun dun dun, the true evil troll in him comes out! This was my day. It is 7:30pm and I could crawl into bed and go to sleep. Here are thirteen of the tremendously wonderful things I experienced with my spawn today. 1. He took out all of my bracelets, hair accessories, curlers, and curler pins and scattered them across my bathroom and bedroom while I was rushing to get ready. 2. He spiderman-scaled my dresser, layed on his belly along our TV, and proceeded to turn the TV on and off because he wanted his music and then didn't want it... 3. We fought about what shoes he would wear when we were leaving. 4. This is the best one...Jackson had his first major public tantrum. We were leaving Bed, Bath, and Beyond and he would not come to me to cross the street. I picked him up, bags fal...

Ahhhh! It is absolutely beautiful today! The sun is out, the temperature is in the 70's, and there is a nice cool breeze. Today is a little taste of how wonderful fall is around here. In keeping with the theme of a fabulous day, I thought I'd post thirteen fantastic things about today! 1. I slept straight in a deep sleep until 7:30am:) 2. Jackson and I went to Mygym and he had a blast! 3. Jack shared, was kind, and followed directions at MyGym 4. I talked to a very sweet mommy while the kids played 5. Jackson giggled SO much at MyGym. It was wonderful to hear his little laugh! 6. We got outside and went to the park enjoying this beautiful day! 7. Jackson and Gavin chased a little boy on a mini tractor around the park cracking up the whole way! It was hilarious! 8. Jackson and Gavin shared an apple! So cute! 9. I am on my fifth day of painting and third coat of blue and I am exhausted. Between painting, potty training, and doing everyday life stuff I am wiped. Here are 13 areas where I am SO sore from painting! 1. My neck from painting the ceiling 2. My throat from straining my neck to paint the ceiling 3. Shoulders 4. Biceps 5. Forearms 6. Shoulder Blades 7. Wrists 8. Hands 9. My point finger on my left hand (blister) 10. Thumb on my left hand (blister and a cut) 11. My abs 12. Quads 13. My head because I was crazy to think that this would be an easy task! Hey, at least if I want a good workout I know what to do!

Since we just came home from a ten day trip I thought I'd write about the comforts of home. We loved being away and visiting our other "home" but are happy to be in our own bed! 1. Jackson takes naps again (3 hour ones at that)!!! 2. Jackson doesn't come into our bed in the middle of the night 3. No sand in our house 4. Our own bed...ahhhh! 5. The smell of my home 6. Taking a shower in our own shower not wondering who or what has bathed in the borrowed shower 7. Peace and quiet at night 8. Jack has all his toys to play with and occupy him:) 9. I can blog without worrying about losing my internet connection 10. Swimming in our pool 11. Jack's back at school...wahoo for mommy! 12. We have a routine again 13. Seeing our friends...we missed everyone!
