Nothing Beats the Beach

You can't go to California without going to the beach. My parents took me to Laguna Beach every Sunday when I was little. As I got older I'd fight them on it and beg to not go! Can you believe that?! When Scott and I got married we lived a few miles from the beach. I remember getting off the freeway after work, rolling down my car windows, and smelling the salty ocean air! I miss that! I loved being able to share my passion for the beach with my boys. I miss being able to share this past time with my little men. All three of them had an absolute blast playing in the waves, building sandcastles, and, of course, eating some sand.

The Happiest Place on Earth

Fish Fam 2010 Our great friends, Michelle and Andrew, treated us to a day at Disneyland. We had such a great time! When we first got there we lucked out and caught the Jedi training show. Jackson was in heaven. He is SO into Star Wars right now. I wish I could've captured his face while he watched in awe. We could not have timed it better! Jackson went on all the "big" rides and loved them all! We took Grady and Wyatt on some rides, too and they did great! Jen met us for awhile with her kiddos too! Andrew joined us after work and we used the stroller pass so we all didn't have to take turns waiting in line. We ended the night watching the fireworks while Jack and Grady duked it out with there light up Light Sabers. Jackson and Wyatt conked out in the stroller while Grady chatted away at the end of the night. We really could not have had a better day! Thank you so much to the Shubins for taking us to Disneyland and spending such an incredible day together! We love you!

COUSINS!!!!

My sister and her kids came to visit in mid-July and we had an absolute blast! My boys LOOOOOOOOOVED having their cousins here! LOVED IT! Jack could not get enough of Jacob, Josh, and Allie and Grady followed them around in pure happiness and amazement. I loved having my sister here getting to spend some much needed quality time with her. I am so blessed to have an amazing sister and I adore her family. I am so happy that our kids love each other so much and know each other so well even though we are so far away. I pray that our kids grow up close and my sister and I just get closer! Thanks for the incredible trip! Love you guys and miss you so much already!!!

Wy Guy 2 Months

Dear Wyatt, I know you are almost 4 months old but I have to capture each moment I have with you even if I am a little behind. You have blossomed this month. The first six weeks were rocky getting to know one another and how to love and comfort you just the right way. Now that Daddy and I have figured things out, you are starting to smile and come into your own. We feel like you have always been a part of our family. Life without you is unimaginable. Your brothers love you more than words could ever say. It's incredible how you fit right in to a relationship with your brothers. I love watching it unfold right before my eyes imagining the future with you boys becoming the best of friends. I cherish our snuggle time and the quiet moments late at night that we have together. I know they are fleeting so I try to hold on as tight as I can. You melt my heart and remind me everyday how great God is. You remind me of your Great-Grandma Buskirk in your fiesty-ness and I absolutely love that
