Photo Shoot

I had the privilege to take pictures of Gavin and Elijah today. I absolutely LOVE the way the pictures turned out! Below are just a few of the great ones! >

My 5-Month Boy

My Sweet Grady-Do, You are truly amazing! "One smiley little guy," is what daddy and I always say. Happy, giggly, and sweet are a few words to describe you. Scooting, rolling over and over, and reaching is what you like to do this month. You are an incredible sleeper and such an easy baby. You typically just go with the flow and often fall asleep wherever you are. You REALLY want to crawl and sometimes get frustrated that you can't. We can no longer leave you just laying on the bed or couch. You are chewing on anything and everything that you can get into your mouth. We started rice cereal this month and sometimes you like it, sometimes you don't. You have really packed on the pounds and gone through quite a growth spurt. I would guess you are about 15 pounds and SUPER long! You are wearing 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. I cannot believe how big you are! I think I blinked and you became this baby! I cannot imagine a day without you. God truly designed you perfe

Family Vacay~San Antonio

Scott, Jack, Grady, and I hopped in the car and hit the road Labor Day weekend. We were headed to see another part of this gigantic state; San Antonio. I was really excited to visit the historic city and get away just the four of us. I was not disappointed. We had the best time! The kids did amazing! I even forgot pull-ups so Jack had to sleep in underwear overnight and now we are fully potty trained! Whoo hoo! We were on-the-go the entire trip! We went to the River Walk (beautiful), the Children's Museum (fantastic), the Alamo (very cool), and Sea World (Jack's favorite). We loved walking the River Walk and eating the yummy food! We took the boat tour and that was really fun and quite interesting. The Alamo was smaller then I pictured it but very interesting to visit and think that I was standing where history was written. The Children's Museum was so neat. Jackson had so much fun exploring that he didn't want to leave! I love when we can get together as a family and j

Sea World

We had an ABSOLUTE blast at Sea World! I knew Jackson would like it but had no idea how much he'd LOVE it! He especially liked Shamu and the whale show. I wish everyone could have seen his little face light up with pure delight and curiosity. He was mesmerized. It seriously brought a tear to my eye. He really enjoyed getting splashed by Shamu's tale and told Scott and I that he wanted to be a whale trainer when he got "bigger bigger." We also got the priviledge to spend the day with Jen, Ric, and the kids. Jack and Jake loved seeing each other. All-in-all, Sea World was a success!
