At least someone can get cozy in a hospital bed! Ugh! No more pictures mom! Geesh!

Scott asked Jackson the other night what he wanted for his birthday and he excitedly shouted "Jesus!" Scott said he would try his best...lol!

For the last few days Jackson has been eye-balling a watering can that was in his treasure box. Jackson was SOOOOOO excited for this watering can! He has been working so hard to earn this! He FINALLY was able to get the watering can and had a BLAST playing with it in mommy's bathtub! The simple things in life:)

Poor Jackson has been cooped up in the house for a week. I felt bad for him yesterday and tried to think of something fun for him to do that wouldn't require too much out of me since I'm supposed to be taking it easy. I remembered I bought two canvases and some paint for him a couple of weeks ago so I let him at it! He LOVED painting! He has so much fun using the different paint brushes and then his hands, of course. He painted this portrait especially for daddy! That same day Jack went to the bathroom. I don't know why all my stories about him are involving the bathroom but I digress. I went to check on him, opened the bathroom door, but did not see him. I heard him but couldn't see him. Well, it turns out he had climbed onto the toilette, then onto the tank, and then onto the window sill above the toilette. The ledge is about two feet or so above the toilette and only about three inches wide. There he was in all his glory naked from the waste down in the window. Nice....

Mr. Jackson has been quite the comedian lately. I thought I'd share some pictures and stories with you to give you a good laugh for the weekend. Now this is the way to fold the laundry! Tiger has gone with us everywhere lately. Aparrently yesterday Tiger was hungry and needed a snack. This morning at 7am Scott and I wake up to this: Jackson: (yelling under his door that is closed) "DAAAAADDDYYYY! MOMMMY! DAAAAAADDDY! DAAAAADY! DAAAADY, WAKE UP! WAKE UP DAAAADY!!!!" So funny! At least he was calling for daddy so I got to stay in bed while daddy went and got him up:) Later in the morning I was taking a shower. Jackson walked passed me with his giant monkey. I thought nothing of it until Scott walked in. He asked Jack where his monkey was and Jackson told him that Monkey had to go potty. Sure enough Monkey was sitting on the pot with the door closed. At least he gave the primate some privacy. Unfortunately Monkey's long tail was hanging in the toilete water so he is now ...

On my "difficult" day Scott, Jackson, and I were able to meet the Bullards and Shubins (Michelle and Andrew are from Cali) at the Rough Riders game. It was a perfect night with a wonderful breeze! We had a blast chatting, hanging out, and watching the boys be rambunctious and so super funny! What an awesome night with some pretty special people! Jack and Gavin watching some baseball! The Shubins and the boys! This is definitely being framed!!! Yeah! Together again! The ladies...me (looking exhausted and haggered), Mich, and Bre Go Rough Riders!!! Jackson was not too sure about the cotton candy. I don't think he knew what to do with it:) Gavin, on the other hand, chowed down!!! Mmmm... Andrew and the boys singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" trying to get on the jumbotron. Hey, look! There they are!!! Jack and Gav were up there twice! So fun!!!

Jackson and I went to our Arboretum in Dallas when my mom was visiting and I fell in love with the place. It is absolutely beautiful and a perfect spot to take pics. Jackson is so active now I thought it would be best to let him run around the Aboretum while I took random pictures of him instead of posed pictures in a studio. I will still do some studio pics next to the number 2 but I thought I'd capture more natural moments if I just took the pics in an outdoor setting and it worked. Here are a few from that day.
